Absolutely beautiful little pub! the food was delicious and served quickly! the coworkers and new manager have made a brilliant job, we will definitely be date night here every time! can not beat a big pub with big ale and great atmosphere. family and pet friendly to definitiw it worth! many thanks for a beautiful experience.

Can’t even begin to describe how gorgeous the food is here! Honestly if you want a proper home cooked hot meal, this is the place. FYI…. The steak and ale pie is amazing!

This pub is awesome. Friendly people, lovely atmosphere, great food and fab drink. Very well priced and if I'm in the area again... I'll be back. So nice to smile at people and receive a smile in return.

The food in this little pub is excellent. We had a starter of ribs with bbq sauce and salad. The meat literally fell off the bone as it was so tender. It was lovely and tasty. The main course we had was home made steak and ale pie. It was huge and the pastry was so good as was the meat which was really delicious. Nicest pie we’ve ever tasted. Nice home made chips and lots of veg (broccoli cauliflower carrot batons and dauphinois potatoes). The new owners are a young family and are nice and friendly. It seems a pub frequented by the locals. As a tourist we were made very welcome. I would definitely recommend The Anglers Arms for food and my husband said the Thwaites Amber beer was a good pint too.

I visited this restaurant on Bonfire Night for a meal while keeping my dog safe from the fireworks. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The menu offered everything you would expect from a quaint country pub, but the quality was outstanding. I will definitely return!
