We had another amazing dining experience at St George's. Excellent menu, very good service, lovely flowers on the table. Extensive list of drinks, even Misha's Vineyard Riesling. Chef's choice 5-course degustation dinner was very interesting, colorful and so yummy. Highly recommend it. All dishes were very nicely presented. The dinner sure made our taste buds dancing. Another great points are: easy carpark, clean premises, relaxing kids friendly atmosphere, Sunday seems to be a great day for dining as not too busy. The prices are reasonable and the cuisine is worth every cent. Just had an amazing experience with friends, the 5 course lunch was incredible and I highly recommend. Compliments to the Chef. Each course was a surprise and it was literally a visual feast . 90% of the food is grown on site and yummy. Kayla our server was a delight and looked after us so well, we will be back. We booked at St George’s Restaurant for our friends 80th Birthday Lunch. Whilst the food was fabulous we were so disappointed with the welcome and table service. We shared on entering the establishment that is was a significant birthday celebration and cited this a few times throughout. At no point was the birthday acknowledged by the person waiting the table. There seemed little to no interest in us. We felt very embarrassed by this as it was our gift to her. We also found it difficult to find the restaurant as the sign has fallen over- a simple A board as a temporary measure would’ve been helpful. We would not return to the restaurant and would not recommend it to other not because of the food, but the service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$100+
