The Blue Bell Inn - Havant

Enjoy a delicious dinner here. The food was delicious. I had the steak and it was cooked as I asked. It didn't take too long to arrive. The atmosphere was great for a night, quite busy, but not crowded what was nice. Stagg was pleasant, friendly and knowing about the food. The location is great, right by the sea, although unfortunately no sea views. We enjoyed a nice walk on the beach before dinner. Would recommend.

Large selection of pub food, including a good specialty card. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to ask about the first table we were given positioned right outside the toilet of the Gent, which we could smell every time the door opened and closed!

We visited yesterday (13/10) for lunch to celebrate my mother's birthday by adopting a colleague's recommendation, I am pleased to say that “The bluebell” is not disappointed. Great food with a wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere, also exceptional service from the staff. The whole food is homemade with Thomas and his kitchen team, producing delicious recipes that they have refined for the guests. We had salt and pepper to begin, this was so fresh the coating was light and tasty. Even at home baked bread and oil (you cannot go wrong with beautiful bread). Mom had the king's salad for main prawn and my daughter had ribbed steak both very fresh and the steak perfectly cooked. The outstanding court for me was mine, that was the cattle brisket Chili. It was so delicious and I was pleased that the cook was not afraid to use the right amount of heat. Thank you so much for coming back when we visit next. Michelle and family

Small but perfectly formed pub. Intimate traditional interior with a good selection of beers and friendly staff. Food menu looked good as well.

We returned to the Blue Bell inn at Emsworth earlier today after visiting there a few weeks ago. Again we were very warmly greeted by the staff, and for our lunch this time we sampled the Fish and chips. Golly we were not disappointed, the batter was light in colour and both the fish and the chips were superb. Washed down with a pint, it certainly finished a great meal. We would certainly recommend this place to anyone who visits Emsworth. So may we pass our thanks on to all the staff,for making our visit exceptional. From Ray,Rosemary, and our dog Susie.
