Barley Mow - Havant

Paid and ordered a karvery, a vegetarian. we don't get a quit. if she was going to Carvery,gave and told her I had paid and ordered the vegetarian option. the crusty replied. They help themselves to veggies. no option, except meat. two cold Yorkshire puppies. hubby's gammonstone cold. lack of care and bad service.

Good truthahn and delicious gammon and a fair selection of sweets, many of which were overdonated. pleasant staff. we enjoyed the meal. the restaurant was pretty clean. we arrived at the end of the evening and I asked if I could have the section of gammon that would not be given to a customer, but the worst mow would be better than to disappoint. the meal and the drinks were however a good value for money, i.e. 4*.

We visited The Mow for their evening carvery and were pleasantly surprised. Both Elizabeth at the cash register and the Chef who served the meat were friendly and welcoming. The meat was especially delicious this time, with tender beef. The assortment of vegetables was excellent, although the peas were a bit dry. The tables were clean and we had a great meal with excellent service. Thank you.

Great food, would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat out. Wide range of food and lovely staff
