El Vampirito - Havana

In a fairly central area, in the middle of the neighborhood of El Vedado. Very good place to go on or eat with the family on weekends. Very rich food, for a cost not very expensive.

Excellent service, food and prices. Very busy between noon and noon. You're crazy!

Great place for lunch fantastic service and a great range for the price! They bring your bill in an Italian style coffee pot! Lots of bric a brac on the walls with a good casual atmosphere.

I think the name comes from the fact that the restaurant is below ground level and protected from the sun. Very popular, took about 45 minutes to be seated. Food was delicious. Service was below average. Portion sizes were large and cost was extremely low.

Pizza and main dishes were very good. Wait can be 20 min during rush times. But, the decorating is worth the wait with old typewriters, cameras, and movie equipment. Can get a bit loud during the crowds and hard to have conversations.
