California Cafe - Havana

We really enjoyed coming here. Besides a nice vibe, they have more vegan options than you'll find at most places in Havana, and the dishes were more flavorful than most. The chickpea burger was our favorite. The veggie skewer was good: not as filling but with great flavor. The staff here is super friendly and extremely accommodating. We chatted with several nice visitors as well. Prices are better than many of the tourist restaurants, but certainly not cheap.

We found the best malanga here. There is another dish that makes us overjoyed Arroz Primavera, which is actually fried rice with plantain chips. It's a kind of wet fried rice, like risotto (my fav. , and the chef knows how to use spices very much, I love it! Finally, I highly recommend the fruit juice here, use a lot of fruit flesh, it tastes rich and fresh! veg friendly visit date: 2020 03

Refreshingly tasteful in Cuba. delicious portions of fresh fusion dishes in a comfortable outside environment. the local musicians added to the ambiente. the fishtaks.

Excellent food and service! the personal is really nice and friendly! you should stop eating and drinking something!

It is quite difficult to find vegetarian (not to mention vegan) food in the cubic, but this place offers a few very good opportunities. we are at least 5 times there! eating is really delicious, but also quite expensive. the staff is very friendly and recognizes them when they visit again.
