last year we were randomly pushed to this hoard and were more than surprised. the service was very courteous and friendly, the card individually written and eating was simply the absolute hammer! Since then, we have been in the linde almost every month, as the card changes all 3 weeks. After passing the restaurant for years now we finally decided to try it. We had a nice dinner. Service was almost perfect. From my point of view a bit too pricy. Short menue with some special dishes.

If you drive from winsen at the surely beautiful luhe to lüneburg, you don't expect a highlight, no surprise. kulinar! the "gasthof zur linde" is probably also completely inconspicuous on the southern side of the road. we stop there and enter the hall - somehow oblique here! but then: a warm welcome and a very pleasant dining room. the card comes in heavy wood, quite differently the light, relaxed service. the courts are described poetically, awakening expectations. what is then served surprises: versatile, different, cooked on the spot, and all with a culinary augence. details to organize: no! just try. here there are star kitchen completely relaxed. wonderful!
........ still full score because the big whole is coherent. great, the clear map (and that is actually meant to be honest, because less is usually more) even more great the pre-ordering surprise menu and all this in a decent ambiente with attentive nice operation.a special praise maybe at this place for the cook that is not mainstream subdue.

However, some classics can always be ordered, e.g. the roasted gambas or the linden carving. in the kitchen you also realize that there are people with pleasure and passion standing behind. we haven't been disappointed yet. at our last visit we had jakobsmuschelen with Tandoori cream, duck-ragout with semmelknödeln and lambfilet with pistou, bon and a very tasty sauce! the only thing I think is missing is a star.
