Am I mistaken in thinking that chicken parm is typically served over spaghetti? The salad was pretty standard and came without dressing, so I ended up using the olive oil and balsamic that accompanied the bread. Maybe that was meant to be the dressing? There wasn’t much detail provided during the ordering process. Despite this, I would still consider giving them another try.

The wine list is nice but somewhat limited, featuring reasonably priced options. My wife ordered the Chicken Sorrentino, which came topped with prosciutto, eggplant, and mozzarella. She really enjoyed it, and the portion was quite large. I tried the seafood marinara, which included mussels, clams, calamari, and shrimp. Everything is served a la carte, so keep in mind that there are no side dishes of pasta included. For dessert, we indulged in a very tasty cannoli. I highly recommend Steve's Piccola Bussola, which has three locations on Long Island.

The sauce is excellent, but they top it with cheese and bake it. This technique works wonderfully for mac and cheese, but I’m not a fan of it for penne alla vodka. I end up just enjoying the delicious part underneath the baked layer.
