Mama's Brick Oven Pizzeria - Hauppauge

My job always buys pizza from this place. Their pizza is always top notch. Fresh tasting and properly made. Good pizza is hard to come by in Long Island and this place knows what they're doing. I even get some pizza to bring with me back home 30 minutes away because even my family agrees at how great this pizza is. You won't find many that know what they're doing.

Their pizza is great, friendly staff, quick on the orders, and I thought prices good. I bought a couple slices and some beer and had a great meal. Good place to take the family or little league sports team after a game

I tried this restaurant about two months ago and really enjoyed the food. However, I placed a delivery order last night and was very disappointed. When the food arrived, it was at room temperature. My boyfriend had to put his calzone and sausage roll in the oven to heat them up, while my pasta was also lukewarm. The only item that was hot upon arrival was the soup. Additionally, the marinara sauce used last night was different from what I've had before; it had a burnt smell and lacked flavor. I also ordered a fountain soda, but it came in a Jersey Mike's cup, which I'm sure they appreciated since it's just a few doors down in the same plaza. Overall, I was very let down by the food last night and won't be ordering from them again. I ordered some pizza, and here's how it looked when we received it.

I really love this place, but for some reason, they stopped their pizza and wings special, which was the best thing on the menu. They do have great food, and if you're really hungry, their meatball heroes are also very good!

I've visited this restaurant several times over the years, mostly for the pizza. However, yesterday I decided to change things up and have dinner instead. I ordered Chicken Francese along with a Pasta e Fagioli appetizer. The server was friendly, and the food was quite good. I enjoyed a few Coronas to wash it down. I will definitely return and try something else from the menu.
