However, if you want to save something, this hotel is great. The room was clean and the area is also nice.

Only the service at recept... read more Nice, simple hotel in the heart of Lörrach. The hotel is very well located. The rooms are absolutely fine and the beds are very good. Only the service at reception leaves a lot to be desired. But it could also be that we were unlucky because we checked in on Sunday evening. Somehow every question we asked was a problem for the employee. Basically it was just a matter of finding out how to get to the hotel's underground car park. On other visits we have had lovely and very accommodating reception staff.

Nobody as... read more Unfriendly staff, a soulless hotel, a disastrous room with appliances that beeped all night. On top of that, there was only cold water in the morning. Nobody asked us how our stay was. From the initial welcome, where we felt anything but welcome, to the complete lack of interest at check-out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

You need to pick up your key by 9 pm, after which the reception closes, but there's a solution for that too. The rooms were clean and warm, the beds were comfortable, but a double bed was missing. I recommend having breakfast while you're there. The fruits are fresh and delicious, the cheeses are varied and tasty, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The price-performance ratio is okay. Would I recommend it? Yes, I would.
