We spontaneously decided to... read more During my visit to Germany, I went back to this restaurant – for nostalgic reasons, as my father worked there about 20-25 years ago. We spontaneously decided to have lunch there, and I'm so glad we did. The food was excellent – wonderful flavors, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Most importantly, the staff and owners were just as warm and friendly as I remember them from my childhood. Many thanks to the entire team – we'll definitely be back soon!

The location amidst greenery creates a relaxed atmosphere from the moment you arrive – ideal for a short escape from everyday life. The menu is varied and offers both classic and creative dishes. Everything was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and tasted absolutely delicious.

The service an... read more We, an acoustic live music duo from Essen, performed in this wonderful restaurant, perfect for weddings and birthday parties for up to 80 people. The service and cuisine are outstanding, the large fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere in the fall and winter, and in the summer, you can truly enjoy the terrace, nestled in the forest.
