Haus Kemnade - Hattingen

An interesting little water castle. With a good restaurat. Lokal cuisine. Just walk from there to lake kemnade. You can also go by bike or inline skates. Good asphalt footpath. You will see a lot of birds. Mostly goose on their way to North Aafrica or on their way back to Scandinavia. You can hire pedal or rowing boats.

We have been here several times and the food was always excellent and always different dishes. We like the atmosphere of an old "water castle". The service is really good and the team is nice.

Eat well, the staff a little handy. Only with flashlight accessible from the parking lot could warm

I picked up a goose package at Kemnade today. I had expressly ordered (and paid) a broken geese, I got a not trustworthy despite repeated demand. For this purpose, I was told that preparation instructions were there because everything was cold and the beats were uncooked. Of course it wasn't there either. When ordering was asked how many people we are, I said five, barbells were still four. All in all a considerable disappointment and more abscess than enjoyment. Parking: On-site parking

The Haus Kemnade offers a pleasant feel-good atmosphere in the indoor and outdoor areas. The premises are not accessible but nevertheless very accessible. The fine interior was a matching contrast to the rustic masonry, amazingly warm despite yesterday snow weather. The service staff was top, always fleeting by hand with drinks and dishes, friendly and especially helpful. The food (buffet) an eye and pale mosquito (Wolfsbarsch and wild roast my favorites), unimaginable delicious. Here too, attention was constantly paid to freshness, order and cleanliness.
