Twisted Skillet - Hattiesburg

Hi my Husband and I heard about this restaurant and finally made the time to come. We couldn't find it... when I called to ask what they are located next to, the voicemail says they have closed permanently after 5 years of business. Super disappointed. But this is just a heads up for those who try to come here.

This place is incredible! You all need to visit Twisted Skillet as soon as possible. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. The bourbon shrimp was the best I've ever tasted in my life. Everything was fantastic!

Every dish we've tried from their menu has been fresh and tasty. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with soft background music that adds to the experience. They also have a private dining area and a bar. If you haven't visited for lunch or dinner yet, be sure to go soon—you'll definitely want to return! They are now open for lunch and dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Don't miss out on the best catfish, served on Fridays!

I always make an effort to visit this restaurant whenever I'm in the area because it's just that amazing. Their chicken nuggets are absolutely incredible (I know I might sound like a kid, but trust me, they are unbeatable when paired with honey mustard). And their mac and cheese is simply delicious!

This place is fantastic. First of all, the food is great. Second, all the staff is fantastic. I had called ahead for a group of 15 people. Planned it for the dead period around 3-4pm. Ended up having a party of 31. The staff took it in stride and got everyone taken care of without complaint. Would definitely return.
