Nellie's Chicken And Daiquiris

I took my parents on a day trip to Hattiesburg and discovered this gem in the historic downtown area. This quaint little spot has a big impact! The concept is straightforward: cold daiquiris and hot, delicious roasted chicken. The five-piece portion is generous, as Nellie serves up large servings. Plus, this family-run establishment is run by a friendly duo that made my family feel very welcome. I highly recommend trying the Captain America daiquiri!

To this day, dining on Sahen's "front porch" brings back wonderful memories of the good times in both young and old Hattiesburg! If you have the opportunity, you absolutely must check it out! The customer service is exceptional, adding a delightful touch of New Orleans to Hattiesburg. Great job!

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant with friendly service all around. I absolutely loved every bite of my food. They make their sauces and lemonade in-house, and the lemonade has a delightful tropical twist with a lot of pineapple juice, which I really enjoyed. The Nellie sauce is reminiscent of Cane's sauce, while the downtown sauce has a sweet and spicy Asian flavor that I found very appealing. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Nellie's is a Downtown Hattiesburg STAPLE!!! Their chicken tenders are incredible! They serve fantastic daiquiris and their staff is always friendly and efficient. My wife and I come here regularly. Highly recommended!
