Open Water Grill - Hatteras

Very good food for reasonable price. Signature cocktails were also very good. Would come again!

Where to start??? Beautiful view, and restaurant. Too bad the food was disgusting. We had Asian clams, not Hatteras clams in some kind of wierd broth. I Googled them, I'd never seen white clams with a black stripe before. My husbands crab mac and cheese had no crab, a little bacon in Kraft style pasta. I had the shrimp and grits. No flavor at all. My Daughter had an Asian chicken salad that definately had frozen nuggets in it. My Son-In-Law ordered the pork ribs. They were so tough, the restaurant told us they were cooked wrong, and they were taken off the bill by them. Not worth a $200. plus bill. Small portions, tasteless food. Stay away!

Very disappointing experience, service was poor and food took forever to come out. Took 45 minutes to get a diet Coke and a second beer. Waitress said several times our food would be right out while we waited. When it finally did come, it was overcooked, burnt and soggy. Sad thing is it wasn't busy, but we were told they only have one cook.

The food was bland, the service took forever (there was nobody there), and the prices were outrageously high.

Where do I start...slimey tomates,stinky shrimp,rotten oysters,a no hand washing chef slinging chicken juice all over cooked food,out of date food,sour coleslaw,bubbling pico de Gallo,sour pasta,no sanitizer buckets,mold growing in grease buckets and gray,stinking steak meat.They don't deserve any stars.#shut em' down
