The place is exactly what North Hatley is about. Tranquil setting, good food with wild life around, even in the backyard setting where we had lunch. Lots of birds, and the absolutely biggest caterpillar seemed to inch its way across the terrasse.Fries great. Smoked meat sandwich was very good. The best place in the area to take a good coffee accompanied by a succulent Viennese.
Bread and pastries, a good coffee, but also pizza and delicious desserts. to eat or take away.

I stopped here after 30 miles of biking and was delighted to have such a wonderful quiche and croissant sandwich to share with my husband. It was so tasty and fresh. There wasn't a lot of English spoken, but we did get everything figured out!
We were looking for a big restaurant to break the crust. we found exactly what we were looking for: a warm place with delicious products, quality and treats. Very nice discovery.
