Essendon Country Club - Hatfield

Clubhouse and pro shop impressive. Putting green and short game area extremely poor for a club of this size. Old course was good to play fairways were in good condition but the greens were terrible unfortunately, slow and very bobbly. Personally I don't think it warrants the 2K annual fee.

New course is better than the old in summer. Greens are lovely and lively.

Really nice and beautiful place, staff are very friendly and helpful

This golf course is by far the best I've played to date, specifically the old course. The fairways and greens are impeccably maintained, while the rough is minimal. The setting is breathtaking, and the facilities are outstanding. Moreover, the club restaurant served incredibly delicious food with generous portions. If only I lived closer, I would undoubtedly join without any hesitation. I'm eagerly looking forward to playing the new course on my next visit.
