Restaurant Zimbrul - Haţeg

I recommended the hotel I am on Sep.12. I had the local trout with rice with mushrooms. One of the best fish ever. I know about fish and I can say it was fresh. For the desert I had the traditional Papanași....A kind of soft donut with cream and syrup. Nice, too. I couldn't finish it. The staff, especially young girls, was nice, polite and helpful. This is not a high quality restaurate, just a casual restaurant where waitresses carry their own wardrobe, sits together at a table if not busy. It bothers me. Surprisingly, I got my food very fast. I am aware of the previous bad reviews... I know where it was my pozitive attitude and smile, but I got Fiid very fast and warm. The high season could also play a role. I was there on Sunday in September at 6:30, but the pace was very busy. Nothing to complain if you're just going to eat. Just don't expect a high-profile session or a fine expectation.

The chairs were quite uncomfortable, the food came hard and it was cold. The food was similar to that in a canteen.

My rating is based on a mixture of very slow service, average food quality and rude waiters. Besides the beautiful surroundings there is nothing to recommend here.

Why not so quick, because for starters when you're greeted they tell you the order's gonna be around 45 minutes (at least they tell you, i know!). The food was alright, quite good actually. The coffee also good. You need to try the 'tochitura', that's really good, also 'mici' and 'ciorba de burta'... That' s what i had.

Go to visit " Rezervatia de Zimbrii - Slivut" and ur hungry? Well ... can't miss this place. Almost all the Romanian representative food here and very good food, very tasty! The price? Almost cheap. Just 4 stars for this location, cause we eat there 3 times: twice was OK, but the last time we were served by some other girl and after 1 hour we eat what she served not what we ordered. (H)ungry man!
