The Famous Codfather Fish - Hastings

Beautiful chips. Shame it was closed Thursday as we were going to get cod n chips. We had to go to another choo shop instead.

Paying £2 for a can of coke is a bit excessive. The portions are small for the price you pay. The food quality is decent, but it seems like they fry everything in used oil. I also need to use the restroom.

This chippy in the old town of Hastings is one of the best, if not the best, for a sit-down meal. The staff is pleasant and friendly, providing great service. The value is excellent, earning an A1+ rating.

We’ve been here twice in the last month, once in the evening as a couple and once during the day with our daughter. We were very impressed both times with the quality of the service and food and would highly recommend it.

Friendly welcoming staff. Basic dining area which is clean and tidy. Fish and chips cooked fresh to order. Very tasty and reasonable prices. We went here on the 19th August at lunch time during a busy heatwave weekend. Well worth the visit. Our visit was based on previous reviews.
