What Alan Bancroft likes about The Dolphin Inn:
My favourite Hastings pub, based in the old town fishing area. Family owed for many years. A great range of ales. Friendly and just a great place to sip a pint and soak up the atmosphere. View all feedback. What Ness Urbina doesn't like about The Dolphin Inn:
Truly Awful Beer! We were on a mini pub crawl and this was the first pub we stopped at. It was the first time EVER that we both left our beers, just not nice. We love a real ale and had never experienced such bad beer, very sad. On the upside, we went to three other pubs in Old Town Hastings area and the beers were great! Highly recommend the Whitstable Bay in Ye Olde Pumphouse pub! View all feedback.

read moreNestled in the old town fishing area of Hastings, Ye Olde Pumphouse pub offers a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a great selection of ales. The friendly staff and dog-friendly policy create a welcoming environment for locals and visitors alike. Diners praise the mussels, burgers, and traditional fish and chips. Despite some negative experiences with service, patrons appreciate the rustic charm and entertainment options like bingo and poetry nights. With a variety of cask ales to choose from, including pale, dry, and bitter options, this pub is a hidden gem worth revisiting.
