I have been enjoying the fish and chips and scampi from Peter's for over a year now, and it has always been delicious. The fish is lovely and the batter is just right. The scampi is full of flavor. I am happy to see that Peter's is now open on Sundays at four o'clock. View all feedback.

The restaurant is not as good as it used to be. There are new staff members and the hygiene is lacking. The chips were reheated and the fish was of poor quality. It's a disappointment compared to how great it used to be. View all feedback.
Had a takeaway delivered best cod chips you could have asked for, white chunky flakes of cod delicious chips all grease free.
Best fish and chips in the Silverhill area. Pop in here if I can't be bothered to drive too far. Chips are crispy and hot. Fish has a decent batter to it. Staff always greet you with a smile.
Very confused by the terrible reviews here, my partner and I have cod and chips from Peters at least once a month and are NEVER disappointed, we won’t go anywhere else. Always really friendly and lovely, generous portions of chips and large cods are more like baby sharks. We love Peters!!
I ordered fish and chips for dinner. The food was served piping hot, which was great. The chips were delicious and the cod was good, but the haddock I had tasted old, so I ended up giving it to my dogs. It's a shame that it's too expensive to throw away, but I'll stick to the fish and chip shops I know from now on.
