I don't want to unfairly criticize this establishment because I appreciate the hard work put into building it, and the coffee is actually quite good. However, I am puzzled by the positive reviews it has received. The atmosphere is underwhelming and the seating is uncomfortable and cramped. Customers may find themselves constantly having to move around or sleep in order to make more room. Perhaps the coffee is the main draw for some, but I don't believe this is a suitable place to hang out with friends and relax, unless they are simply looking for a quick caffeine fix elsewhere. The staff is friendly, so perhaps they just need a larger space to accommodate everyone.
This place sells the best coffee of all time. john, the barista, is passionate to mix and roast his own coffee, and it really shows. others have said that, and it is true, every other coffee will be a little disappointing after one.

This coffee bar is truly exceptional, located in a charming and distinctive setting. In the old town of Hastings, there are many innovative and intriguing businesses emerging, and this coffee bar is a prime example. The owner is welcoming and dedicated to providing an excellent experience for customers. The coffee itself is top-notch. While I did not see the attached B&B, I can only imagine it would be wonderful, considering the high quality of the coffee bar.
