Goulash 12/10, simply the best: The goulash was absolutely perfect, very tasty due to the good preparation and the ingredients. Lean and tender meat without fat edges that has been stewed for just the right amount of time. Easily the best meat ever. The goulash sauce is not sweet as it should be, but the delicious flavors of paprika, pepper and herbs. We enjoyed it immensely. Pot roast 5/10, perfect meat, inedible sweet sauce: The same perfect meat in the stew preparation. However, the stew meat sauce is very disappointing worst we ever ate. The only thing the sauce tastes like is sugar, an estimated 30 50% sugar. The sugar taste dominates so strongly that you can't taste anything else. The ketchup version of stew sauce. The chips were very tasty, well cooked and a generous portion. Correct prices. 7€ for stew or goulash. 3.2€ for a small pack of fries, 3.9€ for a large one. So 1 star for the stew sauce. Would normally be a 2, but given the perfect meat and the availability of goulash as an alternative that isn't sweet, 4 stars seems like a correct rating. We found Plopsaland Hasselt too expensive in terms of price-quality ratio in terms of food. We ate an incredibly tasty fries stew here! Matching beer.
