From outside the city, my son insisted that we go to Portillo as it is one of his favorite places to go in the Chicago region. The place is fun and the food was delicious. I've never had a better chili look. I'll be in town for the next time. As a supplement I am in a wheel chair and the place is easily accessible. View all feedback.
What dwight donald doesn't like about Portillo's Harwood Heights:
Food is good as with all Portillos ,staff is very nice.The reason for 3 stars is that food wait time is VERY SLOW !!! This not my first time visit to this location and having encountered this. Management should take a look at this. On this visit my wait was timed at 14 minutes, totally unacceptable. If a person was on a 30 mn. much break that leaves 16 mns. to cram food down and not really enjoy eating it. View all feedback.
As always the food is some of the best. Everything is fresh and the place is immaculately clean. They make a hot dog the way it should be made.
Loved this restaurant! We’re here from Washington State for the Supernatural Convention for a week and my friend recommended Portillo’s and it was AWESOME!!!!!! Alexsandar was so funny!! And Joe too!! You guys made our experience at Portillo’s great!! The atmosphere was so fun, all the decorations and neon lights!! The customer service was amazing!! The food was out of this world! Please don’t ever change a thing!
Nice people! Lots of space! Great atmosphere! My husband and I went there with our Kiddos and we think about making it a regular place. Love it.
Came from Tucson, Arizona and this is by far the best Italian beef I had in Chicago! In any case, you need to make another trip only for Portillo’s
Just enjoyed lunch for my daughter's Birthday at Portillo's, It was so much fun! The food was so wonderful. And everyone was so sweet and personable. Thank you Sylvia Perilli
