Jay's Beef - Harwood Heights

This is definitely one of the best spots that have delicious Italian beef and of course, nest to Portillo's. I definitely love their Italian beef and I've also been to this spot for a lot of times. I ordered an Italian beef for delivery last month and I did not expect that the food would look like the way it is sent to me and it was seriously not pleasing in the eyes nor delicious. I was kind of disappointed and I just used delivery on that particular day because I was too cold to go out. Recently, I went to the spot and ordered the same order I had the last time I ordered for delivery and the food definitely tastes better when eating it in the spot. It is hot and freshly cooked and it just basically taste better. The staffs in the place are also friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere and I really enjoyed everything. If you are also planning to have a food from this spot, I highly recommend to go in the store instead of delivery for better experience.

This fast food restaurant definitely never gets old because the food is still as good as before. It’s been a while since I visited the restaurant, and I am glad I was able to have a good and memorable experience. I went in here with my family and the experience was just so great. The whole place is clean and has the perfect atmosphere for us. The staff were also friendly and very accommodating to us. We just basically had different foods, and we definitely enjoyed them all. The food was quick, and we also ate it all quickly. I cannot say anything bad about their food because it is all delicious and my favorites would definitely be their hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. I also like their fries because they are not too salty and just perfect for my taste. Most importantly, like the other restaurants, with the food, they have fair and reasonable prices for their food, even with the situation we have right now. Their food is well-priced, too, considering how good it all is.

I have been wanting to visit here for some time. Got a chance to and it didn't disappoint. Got an Italian Beef dipped, and fries to go. Big fan of their fries, but they were a little too salty. The beef was pretty good. It's been a while since I ate a beef sandwich so it's hard for me to compare to any other places, but its good enough to be in my top places to visit. I have to come visit a few more times, just to make sure... but I would recommend them.

We moved around the corner from this place in 1979 (back when it truly was, just a shack). Only ever really had hot dogs or beef, but even after moving away, 35 'ish years later, I still seek out this place when I 'm in the area. Their prices are reasonable (especially considering how much food they give you). I think I 've seen all generations (starting with great grandpa the referee), and the staff has always been efficient (not 'southern hospitality friendly, but down to business quick). I 've visited a few of the other locations pretty much same experience at those as well.

Oh my gosh, I have not had such a Great Beef sandwich in a long time. The Gardiner is so fresh and crispy. Your taste buds will love you! Friendly customer service.
