Sweet Izzy - Harwich Port

I first went to Sweet Izzy when it opened in 2020, and I've been back a few times since. The owner and staff are always so friendly. I love making my own sundae and getting fun vegan toppings that you can't get anywhere else on the Cape. But the ice cream always tastes a little off to me. It's probably the coconut base (they use a coconut/oat mix), which I can taste in every flavor I've tried. If they made a fully oat-based ice cream, I'd be all over it.

Not a ton of flavors, but you don’t need a lot when it’s done so well. I got two (big scoops of salted caramel in a waffle cone. I’m not sure which base that flavor uses, but I couldn’t taste any background coconut or almond flavors, just really delicious salted caramel! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. (And maybe I’ll remember to take a picture before it’s mostly gone!

The sundae was incredibly tasty! I regret not taking a photo of it. During a conversation with the owner, I learned that the strawberries are organic and the owner mentioned that 93% of the ingredients used are also organic! Even my 13-year-old non-vegan son loved the coffee Oreo ice cream. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

First of all the owner is great, super friendly. Also, the entire menu is vegan which is always a good thing. The soft serve is really good, and there are tons of things you can add in, such as gluten free brownie chunks, candies, and fruit. The sundaes are probably the best they have to offer. The hard serve ice cream is yummy as well. We're partial to the sun butter. Definitely a must-stop for anyone, vegan or not!

Got to visit Sweet Izzy for the first time the other day and I was in heaven! There are so many options and I had no idea what to get, so the staff helped me choose a delicious combination of ice cream and toppings. The prices are super reasonable and the staff were amazing.
