Menu

Here you will find the menu of Hoodoo in Harvard. At the moment, there are 12 dishes and drinks on the menu.

Hoodoo Cafe presents a mixed dining experience characterized by contrasting consumer reviews. Many patrons have encountered issues with food quality, including burnt items and questionable freshness, leading to dissatisfaction. Unpleasant service interactions, particularly with management, have also left customers feeling unwelcome and dismissed. Conversely, some guests rave about the welcoming atmosphere and delicious, generous meals, especially under new ownership. This dichotomy highlights a restaurant in transition, where efforts to improve service and cuisine are met with both enthusiasm and criticism. For diners seeking a pleasant meal, exploring other local options may be advisable.

We decided to stop and grab a quick meal at a nearby restaurant. Pizza was meh, overpriced at $9 for a personal cheese pizza that had nothing to it. I ordered a club, it was OK. Nothing special, but not bad, until my last couple bites tasted a little rotten. I thought it was the tomato and took the rest out, and still tasted kind of moldy/rotten and I spit it out. I had eaten nearly everything at that point and when we went to check out, I kindly mentioned my experience and said, Just fyi, you may want to check the bread because mine may have had a little mold on it. I wasn 't asking or expecting anything, I was just trying to be helpful for future customers. The woman checking us out snapped at me and sternly said, The bread 's not moldy. I said, It 's possible it was the tomatoes, and she argued again and said, We get fresh produce every week. That experience left a literally and figuratively gross taste in my mouth. I don 't understand the need to be so defensive and incredibly rude to a customer, especially in a situation like this. There 's lots of other small family owned restaurants, and in my opinion this one doesn 't deserve the patronage.

If you happen to be in the area, I suggest stopping at this restaurant for lunch.

I really enjoyed it! The Classic B&B burger and beer were excellent. The meat was flavorful and juicy. The fries were also delicious.
