Couldn't get... read more Over the past eight years I have passed this little restaurant on my way to and from visiting family 45 minutes north of here, but I never stopped. Couldn't get a seat in another place north for breakfast so I started home and this was the first place we came upon. This time we stopped. Nice little place. The gentleman working seemed to owner, cook, waiter, busser, cashier, dishwasher, you name it he was a one-man band. We had breakfast and while it took a little longer than most places, my omelet was outrageously good. The owner was friendly and by the looks of the other reviews and some of the pictures they posted I am looking forward to going back for lunch or dinner on my next trip to the area. Remember this is not the place if you are in a hurry but if you want it done right and good....stop on in. I recommend it!

Cooked perfectly, thoroughly but with a slight crisp when biting into, even the tomatoes cooked but still had their shape so not mushy. French toast was delicious and soft. Everything is fresh made... read more One of the most overlooked restaurants in the Cooperstown area. The food here is great! It is a local hot spot that tourists never see. Everything is fresh made. Not Sysco getting pulled out of a freezer. The owner is often the only worker but it addsto the charm. Breakfasts and dinners are always good. He has takeout available. I like the chicken Parm. Bathrooms are alwaysvery clean. You can see the kitchen from the seating and it is always very clean. The menu is large but items always get orderedenough where nothing is ever outdated. Specials are often on Facebook. Rarely closed.
