Travellers Rest - Hartlepool

We received excellent service from Megan, who promptly brought us our drinks and made sure our order was accurate. The food and drinks were delicious, and the prices were reasonable.

Although the experience was a bit unusual, the staff's response was fantastic. We ordered six meals and five were okay, but the sixth one had some parts cold (like the steak and gammon) while other parts were red hot. The food was changed without any issue. It seemed like there weren't enough staff and the wait time was long, but the generally warm and friendly staff made up for the mistake.

Friendly helpful staff and atmosphere. Food was lovely and service was very quick. we will be back as there's a good choice of food for everyone.

January 26th We had gone in for a meal we were on table 8 my partner had a steak he had it cooked blue and the chef was katlyn and she cooked It to perfection and I had a gammon and that was gorgeous we will be and also the staff are very friendly
