Description

Nestled within the hustle of Hartlepool’s train station, this café elicits mixed feelings among its visitors. While some rave about the breakfast offerings, highlighting fresh ingredients and prompt service, others have raised concerns over the quality of certain dishes, particularly the sausages, which many describe as subpar. Inconsistent service hours and a cramped atmosphere when crowded pose additional challenges. Despite the complaints, the warmth of the staff and competitive pricing keep the café in good standing for those seeking a hearty meal. Breakfast lovers may find it worth a visit, but be prepared for varying experiences.

This place has always served me well and saved my life a few times on a Saturday with a hang over from hell...

After looking for a change for breakfast we decided on trying the Trainstop. Arrived about 8.30 to find it quite busy but we got a table. Ordered at the counter (3 large breakfasts and coffee's). Arrived quite quickly and the food was very nice and well cooked with nice ingredients. Very nice and we will be back, thanks.

Very poor quality tasteless basic decor not a very friendly place. We often have breakfast in Morrisons far better quality and service. Lots of places to eat in town so we will not be back.
