Visited here for the first time today. The interior is lovely and looks like it has recently been refurbished. The staff were very friendly, and the service was very efficient. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and the beef baguette and home made chips were delicious. The portion sizes were great and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely return as we live locally View all feedback.
What Sandra T doesn't like about Marine:
Order the gammon &egg for dinner gammon did not taste right told a member of staff I believe to be Emily Manager of Entertainment full meal given back was offered a portion of chips in replacement. Absolutely disgusting to be offered this have put a Complain in to the Manager never again will I eat there again. View all feedback.
The service at this restaurant is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the food is really delicious. It was a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend it.

The Marine Hotel is a beautiful building right on the coast road with wonderful views. Their carvery is wonderful, fresh food, lots of choice, and it's all very good !! The staff are very helpful, the bar serves decent beer, and the whole place is well worth a visit ...

I’m not one for writing reviews, (usually only if I’m annoyed about something to be honest) and although I frequent different hotels and hotel chains on a weekly basis, I have written maybe 2 reviews in the last 12 to 15 years. That said, I have to comment on the Marine Hotel and specifically the quality of the food in the restaurant. I have just had, what I would say is, by far, the best battered cod, and chips, I have ever tasted…and trust me, I’ve tried a lot! I relished every morsel and I’m now looking forward to my next meal with anticipation. I give it a solid 10/10
