So we walked in. Placed an order, there was no receipt in the kiosk. Anyways, we stood waiting for food. I was looking round for a table to sit at, realised they were all disgusting so I went the toilet grabbed some tissue and put some soap and water on it and wiped the table over. Sat down to then realise the state of the place as a whole! It was vile. The floors were absolutely horrendous. Food was rank. Never ever will go back there it’s rank!!!
This restaurant is completely useless, with staff who don't care at all. They need a complete cultural reset from the ground up. I decided to try KFC instead of McDonald's for a change, but when I went to the drive-thru, the first window was closed off. A staff member told me to drive to the next window to order. When I got there and waited politely, a brunette staff member opened the hatch and rudely shouted at me for not ordering at the first window. I asked her calmly if she thought her behavior was polite, but she insisted she did nothing wrong. I left without saying anything and am now at the nearby McDonald's where they actually run a business properly, instead of running it into the ground.
We ordered a large party sharing box and extra hot wings at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was served freezing cold and not even lukewarm. We called to complain and were told that if we drove back, we could either get a replacement or a refund. We opted for the refund, but were disappointed that there was no offer of goodwill gesture. We had to make two trips back to the restaurant, ruining our Mother's Day treat, all for nothing. Thank you, KFC. We should have listened to the negative reviews.
The night we visited the food was on form, fresh and red hot. Friendly chat with staff who had a good attitude so no complaints from either of us. Near to Travelodge.
