Coffee w... read more Visited today with a friend for coffee. Staff not really helpful. I asked if they sold teacakes and was told to look at the menu, in an off handed way. Coffee was nice as was the teacake too. Offered jam and butter which was good. Biscuit provided with the coffee also Msic was too loud hard to chat with each other. Mentioned it to staff but no difference. A pleasant attitude would have been better.

Could see othe... read more Had been looking forward to coming here but wasn’t worth the wait. Long long wait for two crepes and a single scoop ice cream, over 35 mins wait. Could see others who ordered after us received their food before us, even two families that had main meals, so no idea what happened. Staff were all stood about talking, not very approachable or friendly, none of them cracked a smile. Toilets stink. Way overpriced for what you get.

Food was great it 's not fa... read more Saturday lunch time treat. Great diner for something just that little bit different. Staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful. Food was great it 's not fancy , but it 's very tasty and the portions are amazing. Lots of American sodas to choose from too. And now that the building opposite has been demolished, you can see the sea and watch the ships going by as you eat. Thumbs up.

The order came to me 3 times wrong as I asked for pla... read more This place used to be my favourite in Hartlepool. I came in not too long ago and ordered my food as usual. The order came to me 3 times wrong as I asked for plain and they had given me all the toppings that I am allergic to. The woman then proceeded to tell me “that’s what you ordered, you didn’t want it plain” trying to tell me that what I ordered was wrong? Why would I order all the toppings that am I allergic to? Delusional staff just wanting an excuse so they don’t get in trouble these days, why can’t they just do their job right in the first place?
