Donny's Bar and Grill - Hartland

I have visited Donny's a few times and have never been disappointed with the food. The food is great and the service is excellent!

Despite its somewhat rough interior compared to big city places, the service is excellent and the food is outstanding. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Donny himself. The music theme adds a fantastic touch to the dining experience.

You must visit Donny's restaurant to experience the longest covered bridge in the world, which you can actually drive across. Located in the middle of a brick complex across from the visitor's center, Donny's offers a delicious fried haddock sandwich with fries that I enjoyed. My wife and mother-in-law, who are both very picky eaters, loved the special hamburger soup. The restaurant also serves a good selection of local draft beers. Donny, the friendly owner and guitarist, shares interesting stories about fishing and hunting as a local guide. The musical motif adds to the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant.
