South End Pizza - Hartford

I work every day Saturday and Sunday every week. After a 10-hour work, the last thing I want to do is cook when I come home!! I love how they make my pizza! I like a thin crust and it always comes perfectly!! I also like her chicken wings!! I had no bad experience with South End Pizza and I ordered them all the time!! You are also very friendly! As I wait for my order, they always talk to me. Thank you for a DELICIOUS pizza every time I order one!!!

Amazing pizza! The staff were very friendly and had our order as soon as possible. You said it would take 25 minutes and we had our pizza. They were busy, which is a good sign for a pizza place, because it means that people know the quality. The sauce was very tasteful. The cheese was delicious and the beats were good. I would recommend this pizza to anyone travelling through Hartford. And we will definitely order Southend Pizza again when we are in town. I had the calzone that was amazing.

I've never been a real pizza expert, but I love New York thin crust pizza!! South End Pizza makes a delicious thin crust pizza at least the best I can find outside New York!! I enjoy it so much that it will be dinner for me every Saturday or Sunday night after working a 9-hour shift! 99% of the time, it is perfectly cooked and taste wonderful!! I also enjoy their salads, chicken wings and onion rings. Their onion rings are beer batters not dipped bread crumbs, which I think are much more delicious than onion rings made with bread crumbs!! In addition, they are always friendly, polite and know who I am when I call to place an order!! I would definitely recommend South End Pizza for a delicious meal!!

Would not recommend this place. The taste wasn’t there at all and I got it cold on top of that. These are their “chicken wings” and the pizza tasted like one I could have bought frozen at price rite with how chewy the cheese was. They didn’t even bother to cut it into 8 slices.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. We ordered a lasagna, breadsticks, 2 liter soda and a small salad that came with the lasagna, waited longer than an hour just for the lasagna to come frozen in the middle and drowned in grease. The lasagna turned into this mushy type of soup as soon as it hit the plate. What’s worse than the food is the customer service, when we called and told them what was wrong with the food they told us it was nothing and was just the cheese, then when we repeated ourselves for the 3rd time he told us “it’s fine, just reheat it”… After we discussed it over with the same guy he said “okay, you can just get something else” so we chose wings and he told us we had to pay a difference? because of how hungry me and my kids are i just decided to pay the 8 dollar difference. and when they arrive they wouldn’t give us our food because they want everything we ordered back. unacceptable you give us frozen and greasy food and still make us pay for a difference PLUS you want the food back? no. never ordering from here again.
