I am a frequent customer, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is very pleasant. They offer many different services and are very friendly and give. It is a wonderful family-run restaurant, they are very active in the community and is a very positive influence on the hardford community! Hands down the best Jamaican food. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pampi's Jamaican:
I gave 3 stars because the customer service needs improvement. Especially when you call. They never identify the business, and there's always a conversation going on before they say hello. The way you answer your business phone says a lot about your business. View all feedback.
As a food enthusiast who enjoys trying new restaurants in my neighborhood, I was extremely disappointed with this place and would not recommend it. The woman working behind the counter was rude and it was evident through her body language and lack of eye contact. The food was not fresh or at the right temperature - the chicken was lukewarm and overly salty, the pumpkin rice and vegetables were also lacking in flavor. The bammy was hard and dry, likely from being left under a heat lamp for too long. It was lunchtime and the food should have been hot, but it was not the case. Additionally, when my food was being packed, the staff did not take care to ensure it wouldn't spill out of the bag. When another customer came in, the staff member serving me refused to let another server help and almost forgot to provide me with plastic ware. When I questioned her about it, she seemed annoyed as if she had not been aware of the situation. I would suggest avoiding this restaurant, especially if you are not familiar with Jamaican or West Indian cuisine.
I recently tried the carrot rice at this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend trying it for your next dinner selection. Additionally, the parking is conveniently located right at the front of the restaurant.
The cornmeal porridge tastes just like homemade by grandma - absolutely delicious! And the Ackee dumplings are a must-try!

The food here is very good. Everything seasoned so well. Excellent customer service. I also loved the fact that it is Black Woman owned!
