I get the fish ceviche nearly every time I go to Parkville market. Today, I was a bit hungrier and happy to see they offered a seafood trio: fish ceviche, calamari, and seafood paella as one entree. Disclaimer: it's a lot of food and probably shareable if you get an appetizer. The ceviche was amazing as always fresh, tangy, and tasty. The calamari was light and crispy, not overly battered like other restaurants. And... View all feedback.

I had the chicken and the arroz con mariscos. The food was delicious and fresh, and the portion was large enough for two meals! I would definitely come back.
I tried the chicken chaufa and the arroz con mariscos, and both dishes were delicious! Everything was freshly made, and each portion was large enough for two meals. I would definitely return!
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the ceviche, Jalea, and seafood chaufa. Everything met our expectations. The ambiance was great, and the outdoor seating was fantastic!
My first few experiences ordering Jalea last year were fantastic, but this year’s first order really disappointed me. When I opened my order, I realized I was missing the onion salad, which is my favorite. But the worst part was the fish—it tasted like cleaning supplies! I tried another piece, and it was the same. That’s when I decided to smell it... and oh my gosh! It reeked of some sort of cleaning chemical! It smelled exactly like a freshly cleaned bathroom! No joke, I’ll never order from here again! It’s crazy because I’ve heard of restaurants using chemicals to mask the smell of old fish, and I hope you’re not doing that. Either way, I'm done!
Other favorites include the causa de pollo, which is incredibly smooth and creamy, and the Lomo saltado, which offers a generous portion for the price (not something you can always find in the Hartford area). The steak is consistently cooked to perfection. However, despite ordering these dishes frequently, my online ordering experience has been disappointing. In one instance, I placed an order through DoorDash, only to find out after waiting an hour and a half that they had decided not to fulfill online orders that day. In another case, I ordered through the Parkville Market website and patiently waited the estimated 20 minutes, only to arrive and discover that they hadn’t even started making my food because their system had failed to notify them of new orders. It’s frustrating to encounter these issues twice in three weeks, especially since we rely on these services for convenience.
