Main Street Cafe - Hartford

Stopped in at Main ST Cafe for breakfast this morning. Had the vegetable omelet made with 3 eggs hash browns and toast. It was great fresh mushrooms and tomatoes and green peppers and onions. Can't wait to go back. Give this place a try I know the breakfast is great. Up date Wife and I stopped in for lunch and she had the Lasagna and I had one of their burgers the Papa Burger. Both lunches had good flavor I liked the Smokey flavored bacon on the burger and the fresh mushrooms.

First time here! Service was very quick and friendly, food was hot and fresh, and prices were decent. I love the location in downtown Hartford.

I made it back to this great local hot spot for a delicious breakfast. We will be here a couple more weeks an will most certainly return. Simple but a nice local place to experience. Fluffy pancakes and good quality tasteful Bacon and all our eggs and orders served with a smile. The corned beef hash and potatoes were cooked to order and full of flavor. Next visit we will do lunch and another dinner. We enjoyed this place and the dishes sound delicious. This place is a must visit for a taste of what the locals love.

My boyfriend 's omlette was filled with kraft singles and for the price it should have been shredded. My Mexican skillet looked very picture-esque but had no flavor or salt. I never leave food behind, I 'll box it if I don 't finish... But I ended up leaving half the skillet.

Biscuits and gravy were mediocre?. The green peppers in my wife?s omelette were undercooked. The iced tea had a ver my odd tast. The service was outstanding!
