We had a great time reuniting with our friends from the John Patterson preschool class at First and Last Bakery Cafe in Hartford this morning. Thanks to First and Last for providing a free tour and cupcake decorating session for our friends and for their hospitality. I highly recommend First and Last for breakfast, lunch and baked goods. I live in Wethersfield and last Saturday I visited this place for the first time and was very surprised, excellent service and great breakfast , will come again never judge a book by its cover.
Love, love, love First and Last Bakery Cafe! It's my new favorite lunch spot. I bring people from the corporate office when they're in town, my out of town family, coworkers for lunch, I even had our last doctors meeting there recently. Nice atmosphere, great food and friendly staff. Definitely worth the money and prices are compatible with other local spots!

Best almond croissant on earth! Love the seasonal coffee choices as well. A must stop for a sweet treat on the weekend. We love coming here!
It closes early because it's just a breakfast and lunch spot but everything is made fresh and delicious
