What Annabelle Kreiger doesn't like about Denny's:
ordered $34 in food and threw it all out i dont know what they teach their employees but what in your right mind would make you used the same gloves you had on touching the cloth to wipe down counters to touch and pack someones food order . i watched the guy at the front counter this morning clean the counter with a blue cloth then went and touched my bread to put in the toaster. never going to order from here again View all feedback.

I recently visited Denny's in Hartford for the first time in a long while, and it felt like a blast from the past. Denny's has always been a go-to spot for me after long hours of traveling out west. The familiar sign was like a beacon in the middle of nowhere. Despite the casual and slow service in Hartford, the menu still offers everything you could want for breakfast or lunch. Our group of nine had some mixed-up orders, but overall, the experience was good. It's no wonder that restaurant chains like Denny's continue to thrive with their consistent food, convenient locations, and affordable prices.
I came from the church with a friend who we decided to go and get something to eat at Denny's we have the wrong tea, we ordered soup after about waiting our waiter came back and said there was no soup. For what we were in the mood because it was cold outside. We also ordered sandwiches, then he came back and said there was no avocado that contained our sandwiches. To complete it from the cook, an argument came with our waiter and the cook even threatened our waiter. They said to each other, our waiter seemed nervous. I don't think there was a manager at the time. I was just upset about the situation. I was charged before dinner. I think the whole situation gave me an annoyed stomach. I didn't eat anything at all. It seems to be open 24 hours and they were short of everything it seems. I even have a tea bag in the hot water where they put the milk in bed for two people. We had to ask for another bag of tea. No good experience!
My first experience at Denny's was very disappointing and I will not be returning. The young waiter led us to a dirty table with a puddle of water on the floor. The hostess instructed us to pick another table, but none of them had been properly cleaned. After wiping down our table, the waiter finally came over to take our order. Despite having to wait, we quickly decided on French toast with eggs, bacon, and sausage for me, and sausage and eggs with coffee and juice for my boyfriend. Our coffee arrived with only one spoon to share and was cold, requiring us to ask for cream and wave to get the waiter's attention to warm it up. When our breakfast arrived, it looked appealing but my food was cold. The waiter seemed preoccupied with delivery orders, neglecting the diners in the restaurant. After getting his attention to reheat our food, I observed him clearing tables for a large group without properly cleaning or tidying the area. The overall experience was messy and unsanitary, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was my first and last visit, as having someone serve food while tending to outside orders is not acceptable. Additionally, the furniture was outdated and in need of replacement.
I think since the last time I've been at this location there has been no change. Reading some of the other reviews to prove my point well proves my point. Waited forever for drinks. Food actually came at a reasonable time and was really good. The waitress never came back to check on us. The only time i could get her attention was when she was at the table behind us. Took like 20 minutes to get a couple pieces of toast. Asked for the check when i finally got it but didn't get it so finally just got up to pay. Didn't realize she was the only server on and was getting yelled at. She was nice and i get it you're by yourself but i shouldn't have been there an hour, hour and a half. I gave her a much lesser tip than i normally would have. Sorry, either need to hire more people, or get better management or b
