Butcher And The Bean - Hartford

Great place to share a charcuterie board and coffee with freinds, the ONLY place i have seen to offer charcuterie boards like that! Amazing idea!

Checked out The Butcher and The Bean today. I must say they have some great coffee. I had the large iced coffee. The service was quick as well.

Such a cute place! Grocery store and eatery. Delicious bakery items from Harvest bakery in Bristol. Service was awesome!!

While passing by, I noticed a couple of interesting snacks. Went for a couple of them. Seems pastel de nata or portuguese egg tart is their popular snack. It was good. Bolo de arroze tasted more or less like a muffin.

Parkville Market needs a better option for coffee. Every experience I've had here was awful, especially for their iced coffee. The iced coffee is absolutely dreadful. At one point, the group I normally come here with used me as a guinea pig and sent me on a recon mission to see if the iced coffee got better since our last visit. Well once again, it was awful. The coffee just tastes watery and old. It was like it was made a week ago or something. I know I can't be over exaggerating when an entire table of people are too afraid to try it again because it's been consistently horrible. It's like Dunkin Donuts when they have a bad day but here, everyday seems to be a bad day. Maybe it tastes different right when they open!? Come on. They either don't offer or are always out of like chocolate type or mocha syrups too. Very unfortunate. Because of this, I try one of their other flavorings and none of them can save the awful coffee. I had a cappuccino here one time and it was just OK. But for iced coffee, no bueno. Maybe one day it will get better but I can't be a test dummy much longer. At least the people that work here are nice. But whatever iced coffee they're serving, I don't know, somethings wrong here.
