Pampano consistently delivers excellent Mexican seafood in midtown Manhattan. One of my favorite dishes is the shrimp quesadilla, which is served open face with a light salad, amazing sauce, and perfectly cooked shrimp. It's the perfect choice for lunch. Not recommended. Server was inexperienced-Slow, had to go to bar to ask for plates and silverware for appetizers, reached across me to deliver food and pick up empty dishes instead of going around. Shrimp was overdone. Potatoes and vegs too peppery. Baked onion soup not flavorful. Ribeye was smaller than expected and lacked flavor. No butter for bun.
