The pizza was excellent with generous toppings, putting Pizza Factory to shame. The employees were friendly and helpful. I will definitely order pizza from them again. View all feedback.
What Steven Marterer doesn't like about Dave's Party Store:
The pizza at this restaurant is average at best, with a lack of toppings and a focus on dough. With better pizza options available in town, such as B.C. Pizza and Hart Pizza, it's hard to see why someone would choose this mediocre option. Hart Pizza offers a better selection, as well as Pizza Factory in Shelby, just a short drive away. It's possible that the new owners of the store may have reduced the toppings to in... View all feedback.
This place is nasty. The bottle room is nasty. The owners are mid easteren. The guy waiting on me was chewing food and rude. They sold this place to the wrong people. Do not do business with them.
While staying overnight in Hart, we saw Dave's Party Store advertising in our hotel room. When the phone number didn't work, we went to the store in person. The store itself is dingy and old. Very cramped, but the staff was friendly. We ordered pizza, chicken wings and cheese sticks. The food was prepared quickly and we brought it back to our room. Pizza was a bit greasy, but the kids liked it. Chicken and cheese sticks were yummy. I would order from them again. Recommend for late night.
Minus 2 star called to make sure they had ethanol free gasThey had to ask manager !! I called ahead and asked which pump. Didn't know said let me know when I get there. Sign on door no mask no service (7) people no masks. Asked clerk why serving people without masks mumbled something. Got to ethanol free pump sign over pump faded and unreadable. Won't be back it's a dump. Went to shelby to get my boat gas. They knew about which pump had the gas I wanted. People were social distancing .
Of course I read the reviews here first (habit), mostly because it's rare to find anywhere that does actual broasted chicken and after confirming they in-fact did The family started to buzz, Grampa told us about how how the process is having it deep-fried and pressure cooked at the same time. Now the rest of us know why hes always loved this kind of chicken he's talked about so much. To get to what's important it was in fact phenomenal chicken. We had a bit of a ride and at the risk of the chicken losing it's unique airy crunch we untied our plastic bags the chicken boxes were in once we got to the car. Not sure if it actually made the magical difference but the chicken was all around perfect. Other things I might note is that the staff was great the person who seemed to be in charge of operating Dave's was very hospitable I believe his name was flower and he did everything he could to get our large order together including the onion rings jalapeño poppers deep-fried mushrooms and potato wedges which might I add were all also great. Although my mom did have one fluke potato wedge but if there's anything that we would even be able to complain about that alone was it. so I thought that it was worth mentioning. To give a full review I might also add That while checking out the rest of the daves crew made you feel at home too, welcoming, polite helpful. I think it may have been an Alex and a Julie? Either way just refreshing not saying other reviewer's may be wrong butif you like broasted chicken and some other deep-fried feel good food, Id say Dave's might be a good place to check out
