The pub has a nice atmosphere but the service was terrible. We ordered sandwiches that took over an hour to arrive, only to be told afterwards that they only had one chef. Despite not being a chef myself, I know I could make five sandwiches in much less time. Not only were the chips cold when the food finally arrived, but when we tried to order more drinks, we were instructed to go to the bar. The staff was incredibly rude and the overall experience was awful. If you are a local, you might be okay, but otherwise, I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Had lunch with my family at this restaurant for the first time. The food was great value and the setting was lovely. The service provided by the lady at the bar who served our lunch was absolutely perfect. The garden also looked very nice. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Had a large family gathering post Christmas and we were recommended this pub so we thought we’d try it . Unfortunately we were really disappointed, they were really short staffed and we waited a very long time between each persons meal arriving and some food was cold, or not what was ordered. It was a shame as the setting is lovely and has potential.

Cozy pub situated in a hidden location. Offers delicious comfort food, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and a great variety of gin options.

A beautiful family friendly pub, gorgeous open fire that was very welcome on a cold afternoon, friendly, welcoming staff. Traditional and cosy. Soup of the day was delicious
