We grabbed a side tab... read more We decided to try Alpine after hearing about it. We went on a Sunday evening for a drink and a bite to eat. Place was small and very dark. We grabbed a side table, that was dark, and the table was dirty. Ordered a couple of glasses of wine (that were not chilled and warm) and ordered something to eat. I was very skeptical when the grill that was located in the bar looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I ordered a burger and fries, and my husband ordered the steak sandwich medium rare. We got our food, and my husbands steak sandwich was way over cooked and our fries were dark (due to oil) but undercooked raw on the inside. Burger was cooked, but we left with a burnt taste in our mouth. Don't think we could recommend or go back there again. By the way, bartender that we knew from another bar/restaurant was there cooking the food, and not trained to cook. Yuck.
