A staff member named Hina, who claims to own the place but is actually j... read more I experienced the worst customer service today at Ruby M's, despite spending over £100. A staff member named Hina, who claims to own the place but is actually just a waiter, was extremely rude and acted like a bully. She insisted we pay the mandatory service charge, even though it’s not required by law in the UK, and refused to remove it from the bill. When the actual manager/owner took off the service charge, Hina reacted embarrassingly. The staff also rushed us, taking menus away right after we ordered starters and clearing plates while we were still eating. The only exception was one kind and polite gentleman, whose name I didn’t catch, who was very helpful. The food was very disappointing and not authentic Indian, but rather Nepalese. Overall, the place is overpriced and the behavior of Hina was unacceptable—she should be dismissed. I also witnessed her using the same bullying tactics on an elderly couple. Management definitely needs to address this issue.

We started with wings, lamb chops, and momos, then moved on to the chef’s special chicken on the bone (mahji mahji?) and keema with peas. The chicken dish was outstanding, and the keema was also very tasty. Service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, a great lunch experience. Recommended dishes include the lamb chops.
