Contribute FeedbackPizza Express has become a dining staple for many, but recent visits reveal a troubling decline in food quality and service inconsistency. Patrons report lackluster pizzas, bland sauces, and subpar desserts, indicating possible cost-cutting measures. Service experiences range from commendable interactions with attentive staff, who handle special requests with grace, to starkly unprofessional encounters marked by rudeness and neglect. While some families enjoy pleasant meals, others are left frustrated by long waits and unacknowledged complaints. As the restaurant strives to maintain its reputation, it faces the challenge of balancing quality and service amidst changing expectations.
They have great alternatives and have pizzas and dough balls which taste the exact same they are very friendly and understand cross contamination
I was sadly disappointed with my pizza. I had the bbq chicken pizza and it was paper thin with barely any topping. Not worth the money. I would also have liked to be able to select the vegan cheese on a gf pizza but it wasnt possible.
I’ve been to this restaurant twice since being GF. The first time was absolutely fine the standard you would expect of Pizza Express which I find to be great in terms of options and safety. The second time, some sort of cross contamination occurred as I was seriously ill by the time I arrived home and continued to be for a week. I am glad I was not served gluten as it would have been longer, but I was shocked that this happened at all because the server was very understanding and marked everything in my order down as an allergy. Disappointed to say the least. It has also shaken my faith a tiny bit for Pizza Express, somewhere I usually feel very safe going. Also, slightly unrelated, I was served plain butter with my GF dough balls as opposed to garlic…
The staff are aware of allergens and cross contamination.
Gluten free pizza and other options. Great to have something before getting on the tube to Wembley.
