The soup of the day was a very small portion and not worth the £4.99 price. We also ordered prawn tempura and melon with ham as starters. My wife had Pollo al Pepe and I had lamb cutlets for our mains. The chicken breast was stringy and the lamb cutlets were tough and chewy, not worth the £21.80 we paid. We were also overcharged £10 for just two cokes, but the mistake was corrected after we asked about it. The total bill came to £74, including a 10% service charge. The waiter informed us that the credit card machine was not working and requested cash only, which seemed suspicious considering the situation. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant, and we were very disappointed with the food and service.

It is surprising that this establishment, if you can even call it that, is still in business. The prices are exorbitant (we were even charged extra for lingering at our table beyond our booking time, despite the fact that the restaurant was empty) and the food is tasteless and unappetizing. I rarely give such harsh reviews, but I strongly advise avoiding this place.

Highly recommend the pizza, bruschetta and prawns (special of the day) 5 stars cannot wait to be back!

Plenty of vegetarian options for my... read more Attended this restaurant to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Very nice place with good quality food and excellent service. Plenty of vegetarian options for my wife and I enjoyed the fresh pasta. My wife also enjoyed her mocktail. Will be coming there soon for another delicious feast. Best wishes to La Cucina team!
