We went here on Fri 22nd April for the live music which started at 9pm. Only intended to stay for a couple of drinks but stayed till closing because the band were excellent! Small, gritty, not much seating and tiny little bar. A few characters (a bit like the bar from Star Wars but everyone was friendly enough and we had a good laugh! View all feedback.
What Theo Khan doesn't like about Yorkshire Tapas:
What can I say, id been looking forward to visiting Yorkshire Tapas, I’d booked a table on the website, or so I thought, even got a reference number. Turned up at only to find that the restaurant didn’t have my reservation, as they no...longer use Quando to take bookings, but Quando still take your booking. Very very disappointing, there were no free tables so we were sent away. They need to get this sorted otherwise... View all feedback.
A great little pub, with live music and a decent pint. Its tight and somtimes to loud, but it does make our weekend when we come here x
Called in early Sunday afternoon to sample the Yorkshire tapas. Ordered the chorizo meatballs, onion Bhaji, masala prawns and pigs in blankets. Could not fault any of the dishes and there was more than enough for two. Friendly helpful staff and a great music playlist. Well done, keep it up.
Fantastic place. We went in for a quick pint and stayed all day. Great staff and great atmosphere. We didn't have any food so can't comment. But highly recommended.
Our visit was initially just a 'tongue in cheek ' dinner whilst on holiday in the area as it would make a good story memory to go to a 'Yorkshire tapas bar '. We were the first in there that evening (mid week and had a lovely table overlooking the park. The guy serving was excellent and talked us through quite a few menu items and we opted for 4 small dishes and 2 large. All were really good with the portion sizes more than adequate to fully satisfy 2 of us. Very tasty indeed and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. So glad that we went. The total bill, including a very very large gin and a zero alcohol beer was under £60 so including a good tip (the service was very good £70 for a very good meal out and a couple of drinks seemed a bargain. A couple of bonuses, other than the view out of the 1st floor window, was the music not too loud to be instrusive and good stuff from the 70s 80s : Oh, and the real bonus was that the chef was happy to give us (well for £2 a pot of his fantastic Henderson 's glaze that he 'd made to top the crispy slow roast belly pork, to take away with us. We 'll definitely go again when we 're next up there.
Great bar, went in a couple of nights. Good if you like live music.
