read moreNestled by the River Nidd, this pub boasts a picturesque location but presents a mixed bag of experiences. Patrons have praised its spacious dining area and lovely outdoor seating, ideal for sunny days, but service inconsistency and long wait times have marred visits. While traditional pub fare, from hearty Sunday roasts to enjoyable pizzas, is offered, not all dishes meet expectations. Friendly staff can enhance the experience, but some diners found the service lacking warmth. Despite its potential and scenic allure, the pub needs to address service issues to truly complement its beautiful setting.
Nice pub, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good food and friendly staff. Parking by the river on the opposite side of the road if needed.
